Fettisdag - Fat Tuesday


Fat Tuesday in Sweden (28 February in 2017) is celebrated by eating the most deliciously decadent pastry in Swedish cooking - the semla (pl. semlor). Similar to a cream puff, but with important differences - a small bread hollowed out and filled with a mixture of marzipan, chopped almonds, the removed bread bit, and some cream topped by whipped cream. Served best in a bowl of warm milk. The most satisfying thing one can eat after an active day in the cold! #MooseBooties
